People: The Problem and the Solution

People are the problem, but people also can be the solution. By becoming a member of KHCB, you can make a difference.

Statewide, thousands of animals are entangled in or ingest debris because of our carelessness. In addition, local, state and federal governments spend millions of dollars in tax money annually to remove litter - money needed for other important services.

Your membership will go toward educating the public about litter and its effects on the environment. Each member will receive our quarterly newsletter as well as other benefits.
